Advanced Fitting Works Center

As mentioned on the home page, Jim Phenicie has been selected as one of just a few sites in the US for the new Advanced Fitting Works Center by the Titleist Golf Company. Jim has always been one of the best custom fit professionals in the business and this new system will compliment his skill and reputation.

Knowing that Jim is in high demand from consumers around the area that are looking to be professionally fit for their set of clubs, the new Advanced Fitting Works system provides Jim with most comprehensive fitting system available today including the VectorPro Launch Monitor.

909 series

The new 909 series driver has once again put Titleist Golf in a class by themselves. These 3 drivers specifically target the player by launch and spin. The DComp encourages a higher launch with controlled spin while the D2 is a mid launch driver with mid spin. Both the DComp and D2 are 460cc, pear shaped heads. The D3 is a 440cc driver with lower launch characteristics while delivering low spin. This lower flight model fits the higher speed player.

The new SureFit system for drivers mirrors the SureFit iron fitting system where Jim can interchange heads and shafts for the perfect fit to your swing.

Lofts range from 8.5 to 11.5 and shaft flexes fit the slowest to the fastest swing speeds.

The entire 909 series clubs lineup features redesigned drivers, fairway metals and hybrids. The new F2 Fairway Metal will match the playability of the D2 and the F3 Fairway Metal will be consistent with the launch and spin characteristics of the D3. The new 909H Hybrid offers optimum launch and spin throughout the lofts

Titleist has also adding new models the Vokey wedge lineup that will open new options in the fitting of bounce and loft.

The New 2010 AP2 will be launched November 1 but here is a sneak peek at the new club. The current AP2 model was so successful that Titleist changed very little in the new model. The design of the club head remains intact but modifications to the name plate and the elastomer cushion in the back of the club are noticeable. Jim is already placing orders for the new club and will be one of the first in line when production and shipping of clubs begins. The current model has Titleist in black lettering against the silver background and the new model has the "710" stamp on the hosel and has silver lettering against a black background.
