In May of 2010, Jim Phenicie was selected as the new Director of Instruction at the prestigious Royal Oaks Country Club in west Houston. Opened in 2000, Royal Oaks is an 18 hole Fred Couples design golf course with an incredible practice facility. Jim will be in charge of all instruction programs and will continue to represent Titleist as the Advanced FittingWorks Center. You can continue to use Jim's free and secure online scheduling service all of Jim's students can participate in instruction at his new location.
"I am honored to be chosen as the Director of Instruction for Royal Oaks CC and am excited at the opportunity this new position presents. I look forward to continuing the great progress made with my students at this incredible venue".
Jim will also continue to host his Junior Masters learning program and will restart the program when the dust settles from his move in early June. This program become the standard by which other junior classes are measured.

4th Teacher of the Year Award for Phenicie!
Once again, Jim Phenicie has been selected by his peers as a Southern Texas PGA Teacher of the Year. Every year, the PGA Professionals of the Southern Texas region choose who they think is the best instructor in the game. Jim was chosen as the Teacher of the Year in the Eastern Chapter for a third time. Jim also won the overall Section Teacher of the Year in 2003 for a total of 4 awards as one of the best in southern Texas!

For years, Jim has performed video swing analysis for his students that could be viewed at home on tape or DVD. Now you can view your video analysis through the PhenicieGolf Academy! Jim, one of the original V1 video analysis users, has partnered with V1 to create the PhenicieGolf Academy. By simply visiting the Academy link above, you can watch your video analysis anytime! Jim is excited to announce that he has been nominated to GOLF Magazine's Top 100 Teachers in
America. This prestigous list of instructors contains the best of the best from across the USA. Names like Hardy, Harmon, Leadbetter and Haney are included in what has
become the most coveted selection an instructor can receive. Many of you already know he is a selection to Golf Digest's list of the Best Teachers in the State of
Texas and GOLF Magazine's Top Regional Instructors for the Southern USA. He is also a 3 time Southern Texas PGA Teacher of the Year. Hundreds of instructors are
